Empowering Futures Through Education
At Jifunze International, we believe that education creates opportunities and transforms lives. Our Tertiary Courses Program supports young people as they continue their education and develop the skills needed for meaningful careers and independent futures.
Through scholarships, mentorship, and ongoing support, we help students pursue vocational training, technical education, and professional qualifications.
Student Success Stories
Our scholarship program began in 2023 with Jesse Githomi, whose studies were generously supported by the Port of Townsville Rotary Club. Jesse successfully completed his studies at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and is expected to graduate with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
Since then, several young people from our Game Changers Program have progressed into tertiary education and vocational training.
Terence
Terence is currently completing his studies and will soon sit for his certificate examinations as he works towards building a successful career.
Bernard
After graduating from art school, Bernard has moved out of Jifunze International House and has successfully established his own small business.
Omar
Omar is completing his second-year internship on a major construction project in Nairobi, gaining valuable practical experience while helping deliver plumbing services for a premium development.
Yassin
Following several successful eye surgeries, Yassin is now pursuing vocational training as an electrician and continues to work towards a brighter future.
Hussain
Hussain recently joined Jifunze International House and is completing his secondary education. He hopes to continue into tertiary education next year.
